Dawg Mulching was formed by Colby Cantrell and Craig Warwick in 2018 after noticing a regional need for Northeast Georgia, where native and invasive species of vegetation prove challenging to manage and remove. Dawg Mulching began with one small machine with a brush cutter, which was found to be underequipped and ill suited for the task. After reevaluating in 2019, Dawg Mulching upgraded equipment and was ready to clear land through a process known as forestry mulching.<\/p>\n

Dawg Mulching has specialized equipment for land clearing through a process known as forestry mulching. Land clearing through forestry mulching provides benefits over conventional clearing. Forestry mulching compared to conventional clearing provides a lower impact solution by eliminating material at the site, as well as leaving existing root structures to prevent erosion. An added benefit is grinding of the material into mulch, which is distributed at the site providing ground cover. This mulch eventually degrades back in to the soil, providing a more balanced, natural environment.<\/p>\n
